Hi, my name is Vicky and I've been making all kinds of art ever since I could remember! Some of my earliest art memories were helping my dad complete latch hook wall art kits.  Over the years I started dabbling into many different art forms like; drawing, acrylic painting, wood art, polymer clay, jewelry making, epoxy art, punch needle, digital art, and crocheting. I had so much interest in many art forms, as you can see, but I always found myself gravitating back to yarn.       In 2022 I decided to leave my home state of Arizona and moved to Northern Oregon, a place that inspired the creative weirdo within me. I always wanted to try selling my art at craft fairs, so I made it my goal to sign up for art markets in my new home of Oregon. I spent lots of time thinking of names for my small business,  but the one I was hooked on the most was Space Alien Creations. I chose this name because I was known as the girl who liked aliens, since I always wore an alien/space themed accessory and spent hours watching the show Ancient Aliens. Growing up I  always felt like an outsider, much like an alien would if they crash landed on Earth, and I always found peace when I thought about space and all the undiscovered greatness that exists out in the universe(s). Thus, Space Alien Creations was born!
For 3 years now I have been selling hand tufted wall art/mini rugs, stickers derived from my digital doodles, and hand crocheted alien plushies of all sizes! My handmade pieces are inspired by my favorite things; space, nature, food, and nostalgic bright memories. You can often find me selling my handmade wares at various art events and markets throughout Northern Oregon. I have made countless friends and connections since moving to the PNW and I am grateful for every day that I get to be part of this beautiful + interstellar community of creatives.
